25 years of Help in South East Europe
Together we are creating opportunities
Help can now look back on 25 years of work in South East Europe and on a period of the most intense need caused by violent conflicts, but also on years of hope and successes in sustainable development.
Unfortunately, reconciliation within and between the individual states in South East Europe remains a challenge, ethnic minorities are excluded, many young people have no prospects, and rapprochement with the EU and its values is proceeding only slowly. In addition to this, the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic are clearly revealing the fragility of these states. It is vitally important that we remain committed to promoting stability in South East Europe and hence to promoting people’s protection, safety and self-determination.

Farmers Logbook compiled by Help Mission in Kosovo
Dear farmers,
The realization of this work diary is made possible by the Help Kosovo organization and we hope that this book will serve the farmers in a useful way. Help in Kosovo provides social and economic assistance to people vulnerable to poverty and negative social phenomena.
The overall aim of the projects implemented by Help is to support sustainable development and stability in certain areas, with a focus on economic empowerment which are supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the German Government and implemented by the Kosovo office of the Help organization– Hilf zur Selbsthilfe.
Keeping records is a topic that few farmers care about discussing or practicing. However, it is becoming a critical and very important task in agriculture. As agriculture becomes more commercialized, farmers should strive to be confident about the performance of their farms at all times. This is difficult to achieve if a farmer does not keep a record of financial transactions and other activities that take place on the farm. Regardless of the record-keeping methodology, the best system is one in which all expenses and income are recorded at the correct time and manner.

Farm visits for Help clients of 2020
Organizata Help Kosovo ka zbatuar vizitat konsultative tek klientët/përfituesit në lëminë e Bujqësisë, që kanë përfituar nga skemat e granteve të Help gjatë vitit 2020.
Qëllimi i këtyre vizitave është vlerësimi i nevojave dhe njohurive të fermerëve, duke krijuar një pasqyrë të situatës në terren dhe duke ofruar këshilla profesionale për mbarvajtjen e kulturave bujqësore.
Help Kosovo has implemented consultative visits to clients / beneficiaries in the field of Agriculture, who have benefited within Help grant schemes during 2020.
The purpose of these visits is to assess the needs and knowledge of farmers, by creating an overview of the situation on the ground and providing professional advice on the development of agricultural crops.

Monitoring report for the project “Self-Employment Training Program”
Since Help after implementation of Self-Employment (SE) Training from 30 July 2018 to 31 December 2019, committed to conduct the monitoring as one of Help’s most important program components, during May and June 2020 Help monitored 79 clients through 79 clients supported, 90 workplaces have been generated.
The aim of this activity is to check the start and progress of the registration procedure, start-up and development of individual businesses as well as evaluate their progress towards achieving the planned objectives. Through the follow-up Help continues the provision of additional assistance to the supported micro businesses.

Signing of grant contracts with clients in 2020 projects
Me datë 06.07.2020 u nënshkruan kontratat për grante me 37 perfituesit nga Komuna e Gjakovës në kuader të projektit “Mbështetje stabilitetit socio-ekonomik në rajonin e Ballkanit Perëndimor 2019-2020” i financuar nga Ministria e Punëve të Jashtme e Qeverisë Gjermane dhe Komunat partnere të përfshira në projekt. Qëllimi i përgjithshëm i projektit është të kontribuojë në zhvillim të qëndrueshëm dhe stabilitet në Kosovë me fokus kryesor fuqizimin ekonomik. Përderisa, qëllimi i veçantë është krijimi i vendeve të reja të punës përmes mbështetjes direkte me grante për biznese të vogla. Nëpërmjet këtij projekti, ofrohen pajisje në mënyrë që përfituesit të mund të fillojnë apo të zhvillojnë bizneset e tyre. Vlera mesatare e një granti, për një përfitues, është 2,000 Euro në formë të pajisjeve dhe një trajnim në fushën e të bërit biznes.
Me datë 07.07.2020 u nënshkruan kontratat për grante me 35 perfituesit nga Komuna e Drenasit në kuader të projektit “Mbështetje stabilitetit socio-ekonomik në Kosovë” i financuar nga Fondacioni Medicor dhe Komunat partnere të përfshira në projekt. Qëllimi i përgjithshëm i projektit është të kontribuojë në zhvillim të qëndrueshëm dhe stabilitet në Kosovë me fokus kryesor fuqizimin ekonomik. Përderisa, qëllimi i veçantë është krijimi i vendeve të reja të punës përmes mbështetjes direkte me grante për biznese të vogla. Nëpërmjet këtij projekti, ofrohen pajisje në mënyrë që përfituesit të mund të fillojnë apo të zhvillojnë bizneset e tyre. Vlera mesatare e një granti, për një përfitues, është 2,000 Euro në formë të pajisjeve dhe një trajnim në fushën e të bërit biznes.

Nënshkruhen kontratat për grante me 39 perfituesit nga Komuna e Prishtinës në kuader të projektit “Mbështetje stabilitetit socio-ekonomik në rajonin e Ballkanit Perëndimor 2019-2020” i financuar nga Ministria e Punëve të Jashtme e Qeverisë Gjermane dhe Komunat partnere të përfshira në projekt.
Për shkak të rritjes së numrit të rasteve të prekura me Covid-19, Help në koordinim me Komunën e Prishtinës nënshkrimin e kontratave me përfituesit janë duke e zbatuar në bizneset apo shtëpitë e tyre.
Qëllimi i përgjithshëm i projektit është të kontribuojë në zhvillim të qëndrueshëm dhe stabilitet në Kosovë me fokus kryesor fuqizimin ekonomik. Përderisa, qëllimi i veçantë është krijimi i vendeve të reja të punës përmes mbështetjes direkte me grante për biznese të vogla.
Nëpërmjet këtij projekti, ofrohen pajisje në mënyrë që përfituesit të mund të fillojnë apo të zhvillojnë bizneset e tyre. Vlera mesatare e një granti, për një përfitues, është 2,000 Euro në formë të pajisjeve dhe një trajnim në fushën e të bërit biznes.
Me datë 13.07.2020 u nënshkruan kontratat për grante me 22 perfituesit nga Komuna Skënderaj në kuader të projektit “Mbështetje stabilitetit socio-ekonomik në rajonin e Ballkanit Perëndimor 2019-2020” i financuar nga Ministria e Punëve të Jashtme e Qeverisë Gjermane dhe Komunat partnere të përfshira në projekt.
Qëllimi i përgjithshëm i projektit është të kontribuojë në zhvillim të qëndrueshëm dhe stabilitet në Kosovë me fokus kryesor fuqizimin ekonomik. Përderisa, qëllimi i veçantë është krijimi i vendeve të reja të punës përmes mbështetjes direkte me grante për biznese të vogla.
Nëpërmjet këtij projekti, ofrohen pajisje në mënyrë që përfituesit të mund të fillojnë apo të zhvillojnë bizneset e tyre. Vlera mesatare e një granti, për një përfitues, është 2,000 Euro në formë të pajisjeve dhe një trajnim në fushën e të bërit biznes.

The overall goal of the project is to contribute to sustainable development and stability in Kosovo with the main focus on economic empowerment. While, the specific goal is to create new jobs through direct grant support for small businesses. Through this project, equipment is provided so that beneficiaries can start or develop their businesses. The average value of a grant, for a beneficiary, is 2,000 Euros in the form of equipment and a training in the field of doing business.
On 07.07.2020, grant contracts were signed with 35 clients from the Municipality of Drenas in the framework of the project “Support to socio-economic stability in Kosovo” funded by the Medicor Foundation and partner municipalities involved in the project. The overall goal of the project is to contribute to sustainable development and stability in Kosovo with the main focus on economic empowerment. While, the specific goal is to create new jobs through direct grant support for small businesses. Through this project, equipment is provided so that beneficiaries can start or develop their businesses. The average value of a grant, for a beneficiary, is 2,000 Euros in the form of equipment and a training in the field of doing business.
On 08.07.2020, grant contracts were signed with 37 clients from the Municipality of Podujeva in the framework of the project “Support to socio-economic stability in Kosovo” funded by the Medicor Foundation and partner municipalities involved in the project. The overall goal of the project is to contribute to sustainable development and stability in Kosovo with the main focus on economic empowerment. While, the specific goal is to create new jobs through direct grant support for small businesses. Through this project, equipment is provided so that beneficiaries can start or develop their businesses. The average value of a grant, for a beneficiary, is 2,000 Euros in the form of equipment and a training in the field of doing business.
Grant contracts are signed with 39 clients from the Municipality of Prishtina in the framework of the project “Support to socio-economic stability in the Western Balkans region 2019-2020” funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of German Government and partner municipalities involved in the project.
Due to the increase in the number of cases with Covid-19, Help in coordination with the Municipality of Prishtina are implementing the signing of contracts with clients at their businesses or homes.
The overall goal of the project is to contribute to sustainable development and stability in Kosovo with the main focus on economic empowerment. While, the specific goal is to create new jobs through direct grant support for small businesses.
Through this project, equipment is provided so that beneficiaries can start or develop their businesses. The average value of a grant, for a beneficiary, is 2,000 Euros in the form of equipment and a training in the field of doing business.
On 13.07.2020, grant contracts were signed with 22 clients from the Municipality of Skenderaj in the framework of the project “Support to socio-economic stability in the Western Balkans region 2019-2020” funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of German Government and partner municipalities involved in the project.
The overall goal of the project is to contribute to sustainable development and stability in Kosovo with the main focus on economic empowerment. While, the specific goal is to create new jobs through direct grant support for small businesses.
