OPEN MARKET FOR Help’s CLIENTS (BENEFICIARIES)

Project “Support to socio-economic stability in the western Balkans region 2017-2018” financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the German Government, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and partner Municipalities and implemented by Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe on Friday, 15 March 2019 is organizing an open market.

Open market aims to provide opportunities for Help’s clients (beneficiaries) to expose, promote and sell their products. Market is located in front of the city Fortress in Vushtrri starting from 10:00-16:00.

The activity is also supported by the Vushtrri Municipality.

My Story event in Prizren

“My Story” is an event organized by Help Kosovo, which aims to promote the socio-economic support for small businesses and start-ups. This event was held at DokuKino in Prizren on March 6, Wednesday at 18:00. In this event also participated Help clients who have achieved success and are transformed into a model of how to benefit from the grant scheme are participating in this event. This activity included also a presentation of the project of Help through an information session where attendees will be informed about the possibility and the method of application.

“My Story” është ngjarje e organizuar nga Help Kosovo me anë të së cilës synohet të promovohet projekti i mbështetjes socio-ekonomike për bizneset e vogla dhe start-up. Kjo ngjarje u mbajt në DokuKino në Prizren me datën 06 Mars, e mërkurë ora 18:00. Në këtë ngjarje marrën pjesë përfitues të granteve të Organizatës Help të cilët kanë arritur një sukses dhe janë shëndrruar në model se si mund të përfitohet nga skema e granteve. Poashtu në këtë aktivitet u prezantua projekti i Help me anë të një seance informative ku të pranishmit do të njoftohen rreth mundësisë dhe mënyrës së aplikimit.

OPENING OF KITCHEN FOR DOWN SYNDROME KOSOVA – MITROVICA

Help Mission in the Republic of Kosovo began its operation during the emergency phase in Kosovo in 2000. After several years of pausing with activities in Kosovo, Help started with the project “Support to socio-economic stability through empowerment of micro business sector in Kosovo”, in May 2015. Through “Supporting and Promoting the Well-Being of Persons with Down Syndrome” project, Help focused on supporting Down Syndrome centre in Mitrovica South. Help supported the centre with the furniture and appliances for fully functional kitchen where they can generate income, become self-sustainable, employ Down Syndrome persons, create work places, impact social inclusion and make socially vulnerable persons participate in social and economic life. The project was financed through funds from the Government of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, respectively from the Embassy in Kosovo, as well as private donors. The project was implemented by Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe Mission in Kosovo, for Down Syndrome Kosova.

HAPJA E KUZHINËS PËR DOWN SYNDROME KOSOVA – MITROVICË

Misioni i organizatës Help në Republikën e Kosovës filloi veprimtarinë e vet gjatë fazës së emergjencës në Kosovë, në vitin 2000. Pas disa viteve të ndërprerjes së aktiviteteve në Kosovë, Help filloi me projektin “Mbështetja e stabilitetit social-ekonomik përmes fuqizimit të sektorit të mikro-biznesit në Kosovë”, në Maj 2015. Përmes “Projekti për Mbështetjen dhe Promovimin e Mirëqenies së Personave me Sindromin Down”, Organizata Help u fokusua në mbështetjen e qendrës Down Syndrome në Mitrovicën e Jugut. Organizata Help e ndihmoi qendrën me furnizimin me kuzhine dhe pajisje për kuzhinë plotësisht funksionale, ku ata mund të gjenerojnë të ardhura, të bëhen të vetë-qëndrueshëm, të punësojnë persona me Sindromin Down, të krijojnë vende pune, të ndikojnë përfshirjen sociale dhe të bëjnë persona socialë të cenueshëm të marrin pjesë në jetën shoqërore dhe ekonomike. Projekti u financua me fonde të Qeverisë së Dukatit të Madh të Luksemburgut, përkatësisht nga Ambasada në Kosovës, si dhe donatorë privatë. Projekti u zbatua nga organizata – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe Misioni në Kosovë, për Down Syndrome Kosova.

Help Misija u Republici Kosovo je počela sa radom tokom vanredne faze na Kosovu 2000. godine. Nakon nekoliko godina pauziranja sa aktivnostima na Kosovu, organizacija Help je počela sa projektom “Podrška društveno-ekonomskoj stabilnosti kroz osnaživanje mikro biznisa na Kosovu”, u Maju 2015. Kroz projekat „Podrška i promovisanje dobrobiti osoba sa Daunovim sindromom“, Help se se fokusirao na podršku Centru Down sindrom u južnoj Mitrovici. Organizacija Help je podržao centar sa nameštajem i opremom za potpuno funkcionalnu kuhinju gdje oni mogu ostvariti prihode, postati samoodrživi, zaposliti osobe sa sindromom Down, stvoriti radna mjesta, utiecati na socijalnu uključenost i učiniti socijalno ugrožene osobe uključenim u društveni i ekonomski život. Projekat je finansiran iz sredstava Vlade Velikog Vojvodstva Luksemburga, odnosno njihove Ambasade na Kosovu, kao i privatnih donatora. Projekat je implementiran od strane organizacije Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe Misija na Kosovu, zarad Down Sindrome Kosova.

Coordination meeting between Kosovo Correctional Service and Help

Coordination meeting between Kosovo Correctional Service and Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe within the project “Support to socio-economic stability in the western Balkans region 2019-2020”. The overall objective of the program is to empower economically and socially vulnerable groups and enable social inclusion. Help and Kosovo Correctional Service will co-operate in supporting to correctional centres in the rehabilitation and re-socialization of convicts.

Organizata Help ka përfunduar procesin e vlersimit per aplikimeve në fazën e parë nga komunat: Gjilan, Viti, Kacanik dhe Hani i Elezit. Ky proces është zbatuar gjatë muajit Shkurt 2019 dhe pas përzgjedhjes së listës së ngushtë do të fillojmë vizitat në terren gjatë muajit Mars në menyrë që të perzgjedhim perfituesit final.

Vetëm kandidatët që janë përzgjedhur në listën e ngushtë do të njoftohen dhe do të vizitohen në lokacionet e tyre përkatëse. Procesi parashihet të filloj me nga një Komunë dhe pas përfundimit të vazhdohet me Komunën në rradhë.

Announcement about the project

“Self-Employment Training Program”

Help Organization has completed the evaluation process for applications in the first phase of the municipalities: Gjilan, Viti, Kacanik and Hani i Elezit. This process was implemented during February 2019 and after the selection of the shortlist will continue with the field visits during March in order to select the final beneficiaries.

Only the candidates that are selected on the shortlist will be notified and will be visited at their respective locations.

The process is foreseen to start with one municipality and after completion it will be continued with the Municipality in the row.

For all the details the candidates will be notified on time.

My Story event in Municipality of Obiliq

“My Story” is an event organized by Help Kosovo, which aims to promote the socio-economic support for small businesses and start-ups. This event was organized in Obiliq and Fushe Kosova on 25 and 26 February 2019. In this event also participated Help clients Mr. Maliq Koskoviku (beekeeper from Prishtina) and Jehona Shala (Entrepreneur from Vushtrri) who have achieved success and are transformed into a model of how to benefit from the grant scheme are participating in this event. Also in this activity Help representatives presented the project through an information session where attendees were informed about the possibility and the method of application.

“My Story” është ngjarje e organizuar nga Help Kosovo me anë të së cilës synohet të promovohet projekti i mbështetjes socio-ekonomike për bizneset e vogla dhe start-up. Kjo ngjarje është mbajtur në Komunën e Obilqit dhe Fushë Kosovës me datën 25-26 Shkurt 2019. Në këtë ngjarje kanë marrë pjesë përfitues të granteve të Organizatës Help ztr. Maliq Koskoviku (bletar nga Prishtina) dhe Jehona Shala (ndërmarrëse nga Komuna e Vushtrrisë) të cilët kanë arritur një sukses dhe janë shëndrruar në model se si mund të përfitohet nga skema e granteve. Information sessions for interested in applying for grant

Project: “Support to socio-economic stability in the western Balkans region 2017-2018” financed from the German Government and partner Municipalities whereas is implemented by Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe, will start with information sessions for citizens willing to apply for grants in following municipalities: Fushe Kosovo (35 grants), Obiliq (30 grants), Prizren (40 grants), Graçanica (15 grants).

Through information sessions Help will:

Inform the interested citizens related with the targeted ideas and project
Inform the interested citizens with the project components and selection criteria
Distribute the application form for all interested participants
Answer the questions

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the sustainable development and the stability in targeted areas with the main focus on the economic empowerment. While specific goal is creation of new jobs through direct support with donations for small businesses. Through this project, equipment will be provided so that beneficiaries can start or expand their business. The average amount of a donation, for one beneficiary is 2,000.00 euro compensated with equipment, not cash.
