Support for Kindergartens in Prishtina

Through financial support from the Help Mission for Kosovo in amount of 20,000 euros, 6 preschool (public) institutions in the Municipality of Prishtina were supported with equipment.
A total of 1409 children and 250 employees in these institutions have benefited from this project.
Through the support were donated mattresses for children’s beds, wooden outdoor toys, sheets for beds, children’s beds, professional carpet washing machines, TVs, laptops, irons, printers and photocopiers, washing machine and clothes dryer , vacuum cleaners, projector and fabric, children’s logic toys and floor washing machine.

Përmes mbështetjes financiare nga Misioni i Help për Kosovë në vlerë prej 20,000 euro, 6 institucione parashkollore (publike) në Komunën e Prishtinës u mbështetën me pajisje.
Në total 1409 fëmijë dhe 250 të punësuar në këto institucione kanë përfituar nga ky projekt i realizuar.
Përmes mbështetjes janë dhuruar dyshekë për shtretër të fëmijëve, lodra te jashtme nga druri, çarçafë për shtretër, shtretër për fëmijë, makina profesionale për larjen e tepihëve, televizorë, laptopë, hekur për hekurosje, printerë dhe fotokopje, makinë për larjen dhe tharjen e rrobave, thithëse elektrike, projektor dhe pëlhure, lodra logjike për fëmije si dhe makinë për larjen e dyshemesë.

On July 7th a delegation from Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe is visiting Kosovo.
On this day Help Mission in Kosovo was honored to have them joined us at the regular Monday meeting.
oN 12.07.2021 The delegation from Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe visited Correctional Center in Lipjan (Kosovo) which was supported with equipment within resocialization and rehabilitation component.
On 13.07.2021 representatives of Help Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe Gerd Sippel – Board Advisor, Timo Stegelmann – Acting Head CEO, Masa Bubanj – Senior Programme Manager and Shqipe Breznica – Country Director of Help Mission in Kosovo were hosted in a meeting by the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers Hekuran Murati to discuss about the projects for socio-economic empowerment in Kosovo.

Memorandum of Understanding signed between Help-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe Mission in Kosovo and the Ministry of Justice
Two Memorandums of Understanding were signed, of projects which will be implemented between the Ministry of Justice, respectively Kosovo Correctional Service, Kosovo Probation Service and Help within the project “Socio-economic empowerment of the Western Balkans”.
The aim of the project is to empower vulnerable groups in the economic and social sphere and provide opportunities for inclusion in social life.
Help will support correctional and probation centers in the rehabilitation and re-socialization of convicts and the provision of training to staff and convicts.

Signing cooperation agreements with partner municipalities

Help-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe Mission in Kosovo has reached a cooperation agreement with partner Municipalities within the project “Socio-economic empowerment of the Western Balkans”.

The program aims to increase the socio-economic stability of the region during the period 2021-2022.

The aim is to create mechanisms and networks for the empowerment of marginalized groups including the recovery measures by Covid-19 and thus enable their inclusion and social prosperity.

The average value of a grant, for a beneficiary, is up to 2,000.00 Euro, a sum which includes the contribution from selected clients (beneficiaries) of 20% and partner Municipalities with 30%.

In addition to the equipment, beneficiaries will be provided with professional training and technical support after receiving the equipment.

Further information will be provided through information meetings to be held at the beginning of the project.

Programi synon të rrisë stabilitetin socio-ekonomik të rajonit gjatë periudhës 2021-2022.
Qëllimi është krijimi i mekanizmave dhe rrjeteve për fuqizimin e grupeve të margjinalizuara përfshirë masat e rimëkëmbjes nga Covid-19 dhe në këtë mënyrë mundësojmë përfshirjen e tyre dhe prosperitetin shoqëror.
Vlera mesatare e një granti, për një përfitues, është deri në 2,000.00 Euro, shumë kjo e cila përfshinë edhe kontributin nga klientët e përzgjedhur (përfituesit) prej 20% dhe komunat partnere 30%.
Krahas pajisjeve, përfituesve do t’u ofrohen edhe trajnime profesionale dhe mbështetje teknike pasi të kenë pranuar pajisjet.

Help Kosovo finalized first phase of Monitoring in Drenas and Podujeva

Help ka përfunduar fazën e parë të procesit të monitorimit të përfituesve / klientëve të granteve të vitit 2020 nga Komuna e Podujevës dhe Drenasit, ku u bë vlerësimi i performancës së përfituesve të granteve dhe ndikimi ei tyre në zhvillimin e aktivitetit biznesor.
Projekti i financuar nga Fondacioni Medicor, u implementua në bashkëpunim me Komunat partnere, rezultoi me 81 biznese të vogla të mbështetura me pajisje dhe makineri si dhe trajnime në të bërit biznes e trajnime profesionale.
Kjo mbështetje jo vetëm që kontribuoi në zhvillimin dhe përparimin e bizneseve, por gjithashtu ndikoi në punësimin e të rinjve dhe veçanërisht të grave, pasi 30 përfituese janë gra ndërmarrëse.

Help has completed the first phase of the monitoring process of grant beneficiaries / clients of 2020 from Podujeva and Drenas, where the performance of grant beneficiaries was evaluated and their impact on the development of business activity.
The project financed by Medicor Foundation, which was implemented in cooperation with Partner Municipalities, resulted in 81 small businesses supported with equipment and machinery as well as training in doing business and vocational training.
This support not only contributed to the development and advancement of businesses, but also affected the employment of young people and especially women, as 30 beneficiaries are women entrepreneurs.

Drejtoresha e Help Kosovo Shqipe Breznica është duke zbatuar takimet konsultative me komunat partnere  në kuadër të projektit “Fuqizimi socio-ekonomik i Ballkanit Perëndimor”.
Programi synon të rrisë stabilitetin socio-ekonomik të rajonit gjatë vitit 2021 deri në fund të dhjetorit 2022.

German Government continues supporting the economic empowerment of the Western Balkans

German non-governmental organisation Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe (missions to Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia) is informing the public on the release of the 3.35 million Euros worth German-supported programme “Socio-economic empowerment of the Western Balkans”

The German non-governmental organisation Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe is implementing a 3,35 million Euros, German-supported programme “Socio-economic empowerment of the Western Balkans” to enhance the socio-economic stability of the region in 2021 until the end of December 2022.

The programme objective is to create mechanisms and networks for the empowerment of marginalised groups including COVID-19 recovery measures and thus facilitate their inclusion and social prosperity.

The focus of the activities, in all Western Balkans countries, is on the job-creation through the establishment of new businesses and provision of support to the existing ones affected by the COVID-19.  The assistance will be provided to socially vulnerable groups, women, youth, people with disabilities, prisoners, and local communities, through economic empowerment involving the building of personal and professional skills.

By the end of the project, it is expected that in the Western Balkans, Help will have supported at least 470 small scale businesses. At least 900 people will have increased their personal and professional skills. The penitentiary support to 18 prisons and at least 15 local initiatives completed, and a social platform fully operational on the regional level.

Shqipe Breznica, Country Director: “In Kosovo, Help will continue its effort in empowering micro-businesses with in-kind grants and provide business and professional training to increase their capacities as well as to facilitate labour market access. Kosovo Correctional Services and Kosovo Probation Services will be supported within the resocialization component. As for the local communities’ improvement, kindergartens in the capital will be supported to create a stimulating environment. In addition, previously established local structures will be utilized in synergetic action for a common good to produce and set up outdoor trash bins installed in the capital of Kosovo, Prishtina”.

WEE Simple / Gratë Ndërmarrëse në Energji

Gratë ndërmarrëse në energji – komponenti i thjeshtë

Fondacioni i Mileniumit i Kosovës (MFK) ka lansuar komponentin e fundit të Programit Gratë Ndërmarrëse në Energji (WEE), një skemë Pilot e granteve për Grupin e THJESHTË që ofron grante për bizneset mikro dhe bizneset fillestare “start-up” në pronësi të grave në komunat e zgjedhura në të gjithë Kosovën. Këto grante janë projektuar për të ndihmuar gratë ndërmarrëse në Kosovë të rrisin biznesin e tyre përmes përdorimit më efiҫient të energjisë.

Skema Pilot e Granteve për Grupin e THJESHTË fillimisht do të zbatohet në këto komuna: Ferizaj, Fushë Kosovë, Gjakovë, Gjilan, Graçanicë, Mitrovicë e Veriut, Podujevë, Prishtinë dhe Prizren.

Ky komponent është i dizajnuar për biznese të reja me ide të ndritshme, fonde shumë të kufizuara ose grupe shoqërore më pak të avansuara, me nevoja për investime deri në 3,000 €, përfshirë kontributin vetanak prej 15%.

KUSH MUND TË APLIKOJ?

Bizneset mikro dhe ato fillestare “start-up” në pronësi të grave që duan të rrisin biznesin e tyre me teknologji më efiҫiente të energjisë dhe / ose masa të kursimit të energjisë:

  • Të paktën 51% në pronësi të grave
  • Më pak se 5 të punësuar
  • Bizneset fillestare “start-up” në pronësi të grave dhe ndërmarrëseve individuale
  • Ndodhet në njërën nga komunat e përfshira në këtë Thirrje për Aplikim
  • Bizneset fillestare “start-up” që janë duke punuar por nuk janë regjistruar ende, i inkurajojmë shumë që të aplikojnë. Ato biznese, të cilave u jepen grante, do të duhet të përfundojnë regjistrimin e biznesit të tyre si pjesë e kushtit të grantit dhe atë para verifikimit të projektit, përndryshe granti duhet të kthehet në MFK.
  • Kërkoni një grant investimi jo më shumë se 3,000 € (përfshirë një kontribut vetanak prej 15%)
  • Dëshirojnë të rrisin biznesin e tyre me teknologji më efiҫiente të energjisë dhe / ose masa të kursimit të energjisë.

Žene u energetici – JEDNOSTAVNA KOMPONENTA

Milenijumska fondacija Kosovo (MFK) pokrenula je završnu komponentu Programa za žene energetske preduzetnice (WEE), šemu bespovratnih sredstava za Pilot JEDNOSTAVNU grupu koja nudi grantove za mikro preduzeća i novoosnovana preduzeća u vlasništvu žena u odabranim opštinama širom Kosova. Ovi grantovi su dizajnirani da pomognu ženama preduzetnicama na Kosovu da unaprede svoje poslovanje efikasnijom upotrebom energije.

Pilot šema grantova za JEDNOSTAVNU grupu će se u početku primenjivati u sledećim opštinama: Uroševac, Kosovo Polje, Đakovica, Gnjilane, Gračanica, Severna Mitrovica, Podujevo, Priština i Prizren.

Ova komponenta osmišljena je za nova preduzeća sa sjajnim idejama, s veoma ograničenim fondovima ili s manjim socijalnim prednostima, a sa investicijskim potrebama do €3,000, uključivši 15% vlastitog učešća.

KO MOŽE DA SE PRIJAVI

Mikro-preduzeća u ženskom vlasništvu i novoosnovana preduzeća koja žela da unaprede svoje poslovanje sa energetski efikasnim tehnologijama i/ili sa merama za uštedu energije:

  • Sa barem 51% u ženskom vlasništvu
  • Sa manje od 5 zaposlenih
  • Novoosnovano preduzeće u ženskom vlasništvu ili individualne preduzetnice
  • Locirano u jednoj od opština uključenim u Pozivu za prijave
  • Novoosnovana preduzeća koja rade, ali još nisu registrovana potiču se na prijavu. Takva preduzeća, kojima se dodele bespovratna sredstva, moraće da završe svoju registraciju kao deo uslova za bespovratna sredstva i pre verifikacije projekta, ili će sredstva morati da budu vraćena u MFK.
  • Kojima su potrebna investicijska bespovratna sredstva od ne više od €3.000 (uključivši 15% vlastitog učešća)
  • Koja žele da unaprede svoje poslovanje sa energetski efikasnijim tehnologijama i/ili sa merama energetskih ušteda.

Signing of partnership agreement with BONEVET (RECONOMY program)

Today on 11th of May 2021 Help Kosovo signed a partnership agreement with BONEVET Gjakova within RECONOMY project as implementing partner for training and engaging young entrepreneurs in startup competition.
BONEVET is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, with the status of a public beneficiary, which operates as an informal educational institution.
The RECONOMY Programme is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and is implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation (Helvetas) together with Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe.
The Programme is private sector-driven that aims to stimulate more competitive and growing businesses as a result of improved use of skilled workforce, relevant and accessible services and conducive policy frameworks. The Programme addresses underperforming systems for economic opportunities – better income and decent jobs – in an inclusive and sustained way for women, young people and other disadvantaged and excluded groups.
