Certification of candidates from Gjilan

As part of the “Self-Employment Training Program”, financed by USAID Empower and implemented by HELP, 50 candidates received certifications for the business training.

In the ceremony organised in Gjilan, Mr. Lutfi Haziri, the municipal Mayor, thanked USAID for financing the program, and HELP for implementing the program. He showed his readiness to continue support new businesses in the municipality, especially businesses established by young people.

Brian Martalus, Director of the Economic Development Office in USAID said that ‘’Kosovo is the youngest country in Europe with youngest population, energetic, intelligent, and eager to contribute to the economic development of the country.  Starting and running a business is not easy, a lot of businesses fail, but you must keep trying until you succeed. USAID is here to help you to succeed now and, in the future, so you contribute to your families, and your community. He also thanked municipal mayors for co-financing the program’’.

Shqipe Breznica, Country Director of Help-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe Mission in Kosovo was satisfied with the interest of youngsters for this project which will deliver business skills development through business training that will lead to the application for a grant for equipment and encouraged them to follow the procedures of applications within the project.

The “Self-Employment Training Program”, which is implemented by Help Kosovo, aims to foster employ-ability, entrepreneurship, and expanding job opportunities for youth from Gjilan, Viti, Kacanik, and Hani i Elezit. The program delivered business skills training to around 200 youth, and upon completion, best 32 business proposals presented by trainees will receive small grants, which are also co-financed by partner municipalities, to start their own businesses.

The program is financed by USAID Empower Private Sector in partnership with Sida – Styrelsen för Internationellt Utvecklingssamarbete

The business training was delivered by Business Support Centre Kosovo (BSCK) from 26 November – 03 December 2018.

Certification of candidates from Viti

As part of the “Self-Employment Training Program”, financed by USAID Empower and implemented by Help, 50 candidates received certifications for the business training.

In the ceremony held in Viti, Mr. Sokol Haliti, the municipal Mayor, congratulated candidates for successfully completing the training and wished them success also during the grant application contest. He thanked USAID for financing the program, and HELP for implementing the program, on which occasion, he awarded to both, Mr. Martalus and Mrs. Breznica, a symbolic present.

Help supports Correctional Service Institutions in Kosovo

Përfaqësuesit e Help sot filluan shpërndarjen e paisjeve të Teknologjisë Informative dhe Orendive për zyre tek Shërbimet Korrektuese të Kosovës respektivisht në Qendrën e Paraburgimit në Mitrovicë dhe Qendrën Korrektuese në Smrekonicë.
Help dhe Shërbimi Korrektues i Kosovës i cili është një Agjensi në kuadër të Ministrisë së Drejtësisë zbaton njërin prej komponentëve të projektit që është rehabilitimi dhe ri-socializimi i personave që kanë qenë në konflikt me ligjin.
Qendra Korrektuese në Smrekonicë dhe Qendra e Paraburgimit në Mitrovicë sot kanë pranuar paisje të cilat funksionalizojne kabinetet e Teknologjisë Informative si dhe hapsirat për trajnime.
Zyrtarët prezent të Qendrave Korrektuese janë falenderues ndaj Organizatës Help për implementimit të ketij projekti.

Representatives of the Help today starts distributing of Information Technology equipment and Office furniture to Kosovo Correctional Services, respectively in the Detention Center in Mitrovica and the Smrekonica Correctional Center.

Help and the Kosovo Correctional Service, which is an Agency within the Ministry of Justice, implements one of the project components that is the rehabilitation and re-socialization of persons who have been in conflict with the law.

The Smrekonica Correctional Center and the Detention Center in Mitrovica today have received equipment that functionalizes Information Technology cabinets as well as training facilities.
Attending Correctional Officials are thankful to Help for the implementation of this project.

Predstavnici Help-a danas su počeli distribuciju opreme za Informativne Tehnologije i Kancelarijskog nameštaja za Korektivne Službe Kosova, odnosno u Pritvorskom Centru u Mitrovici i u Popravnom Centru Smrekonica.

Help i Korektivna Služba Kosova, koja je Agencija u okviru Ministarstva Pravde, sprovodi jednu od projektnih komponenti, odnosno rehabilitaciju i resocijalizaciju lica koja su u suprotnosti sa zakonom.

Popravni Centar Smrekonica i Centar za Pritvor u Mitrovici danas su dobili opremu koja funkcionalizuje prostoriju za Informativnu Tehnologiju, kao i prostorije za obuku.

Help supports Down Syndrome Kosova

Country Director of Help Kosovo, Shqipe Breznica and Exucutive Director of Down Syndrome Kosova,Sebahate Hajdini signed the cooperation agreement for the project “Supporting and Promoting the Well-Being of Person with Down Syndrome” supported by LUXEMBOURG Government. Help will equip the kitchen with appliances and other working tools of Down Syndrome Kosova in Mitrovica to establish the cafeteria in order to generate income for the centre in Mitrovica. Help Kosovo will purchase and deliver the equipment for DSK and also provide technical assistance.

Monitoring vocational training in Kamenica

43 citizens from Kamenica are attending vocational trainings within the project “Support Sustainable Economic Development at Municipal Level”

Representatives from the Ministry of Administration and Local Government, Fetije Begolli and the representative of the Kosovo Help Kosovo Valon Hyseni, have visited some of the businesses that are training young people in the areas they have chosen.

This activity has been monitored also by the Director of Economic Development and Diaspora Majlinda Krasniqi, who monitored the trainings that are being held within the project “Support Sustainable Economic Development at the Municipal Level”.

The project focuses on capacity building in the economic sphere and poverty reduction and under this agreement, the Help organization will provide vocational training for at least 40 citizens of the Municipality of Kamenica.

43 qytetarë po ndjekin trajnimet profesionale në kuadër të projektit “Përkrahje Zhvillimit të Qëndrueshëm Ekonomik në Nivel Komunal”

Përfaqësuesja nga Ministria e Administrimit dhe Pushteti Lokal, Fetije Begolli dhe përfaqësuesi i organizatës Help Kosovo Valon Hyseni, i kanë vizituar disa nga bizneset që janë duke i trajnuar të rinjtë në fushat të cilat ata i kanë zgjedhur.

Këtë aktivitet e ka monitoruar edhe Drejtoresha për Zhvillim Ekonomik dhe Diasporë Majlinda Krasniqi, ka bërë monitorimin e trajnimeve që janë duke u mbajtur në kuadër të projektit “Përkrahje Zhvillimit të Qëndrueshëm Ekonomik në Nivel Komunal”.

Projekti ka si fokus ngritjen e kapaciteteve në sferën ekonomike dhe uljen e nivelit të varfërisë dhe sipas kësaj marrëveshjeje, organizata Help do të ofrojë trajnime profesionale për së paku 40 qytetarë të Komunës së Kamenicës.

Rreth projektit

Programi i Trajnimit për Vetë-Punësim synon të nxisë aftësitë e punësimit dhe ndërmarrësisë të të rinjëve të margjinalizuar në komunat: Viti, Kaçanik dhe Han të Elezit. Programi do t’u ofrojë trajnime për shkathtësitë e biznesit rreth 200 të rinjve nga këto komuna, ndërsa, pas përfundimit, 32 propozimeve më të mira të biznesit të paraqitura nga të rinjtë e trajnuar do t’u jepen grante të vogla për t’i filluar bizneset e tyre.

Ky projekt financohet nga USAID EMPOWER Sektori Privat në partneritet me Agjensinë Suedeze për Bashkëpunim dhe Zhvillim Ndërkombëtar (Sida) dhe implementohet nga Help Kosovo.

Kush mund të aplikojë?

Të drejtë aplikimi kanë të rinjtë (18-35 vjeç) nga komunat: Viti, Kaçanik dhe Hani i Elezit. Në secilën komunë do të përzgjidhen nga 50 persona për të ndjekur një trajnim 5-ditor në biznes. Vetëm ata që përzgjidhen për trajnime mund të aplikojnë për grant në formë të pajisjeve për biznesin e tyre ekzistues apo të ri start-up.
