40 youngsters benefited from the Skill Up Project
On the 14th of December 2022, the certification ceremony for the trainees of the Skill Up Project was held in Makerspace Innovation Center Prizren. This project was implemented jointly with Makerspace Innovation Center, as training providers. 24 youngsters between the ages of 18-35 from the Municipality of Prizren, gained training in the field of Graphic Design, Accounting through Software & taxes which enables the generation of new working places. The project has already started showing its impact as one of the trainees was employed during the training.
Furthermore, 16 from the trainees are women and girls which contributes to higher participation rates of women in the field of ICT.

On the 22nd of December 2022, the certification ceremony for the trainees of the Skill Up Project was held, additionally the students presented the projects they developed. The project is financed and ideated by Help Mission in Kosovo and implemented by Beetroot Academy Kosovo, as accredited training providers. 16 youngsters between the ages of 18-35, gained training in the field of Front-End Development which enables the generation of new working places.

Help awarded on women empowerment in Kosovo
“They Believed They Could So They Did” R S Grey
On December 15th, 2022, the first award ceremony was held for the most successful women of the Republic of Kosovo from all communities, titled ‘Golden Crown’.
The event was organized under the patronage of the Cabinet for Human Rights and Non-Majority Communities of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, the Office of the Prime Minister, the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister Emilija Redžepi in cooperation with the NGO Lady – CC 4 Women.
Shqipe Breznica, Country Director of Help Mission in Kosovo, was awarded for the contribution in women’s economic empowerment through grants for employment.

Freelancing opportunities within GEW in Kosovo
Within the Global Entrepreneurship Week Kosovo, RECONOMY in cooperation with Melita&Partners organized the event on “Freelancing Opportunities” supported by Sida and Helvetas.
The main purpose of the event was informing the audience on the importance of working as a freelancer and presenting KUDO – Become a Freelance Digital Accountant digital platform in the region.

Help at Global Entrepreneurship Week in Kosovo
As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week in Kosovo, Help in collaboration with Drinor Selmanaj organized the event “Coffee Talks” in the premises of the Innovation Center Kosovo, the main purpose of the event was to raise awareness among the audience about the importance and growth of cyber security.
During the “Coffee Talks” the participants had the opportunity to listen to the story of Drinor Selmanaj, learning from his years of history and experience, as well as offer their views and ask questions about the topic of cyber security.
