Marigona joined the Help-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe field operations in 2022 as Senior Field Officer to provide support with the selection of beneficiaries and execution of grants,and communication and coordination with municipalities and local communities to facilitate and monitor business development activities. Diligent and an effective multi-tasker, she has successfully managed offices and coordinated work with multiple stakeholders over several years, both domestically and internationally, with a strong focus on project implementation and data management.

She has worked with several local organizations, as well as with Amazon (UK), First Assistance (New Zealand), and the Child Cancer Foundation (New Zealand). Marigona holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Dardania University in Prishtina, Kosovo, and a Master’s degree in Law from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. She is fluent in Albanian (native), English, and Turkish.

In September 2025, Marigona assumed the role of Project Manager for the project Economic Promotion to Stabilize the Labour Market in Kosovo, an economic development initiative supported by the German Government through GIZ Kosovo and the Government of Kosovo through the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, and implemented by Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe.
